Great and very interesting local museum

Often just passed by, but if you have a couple of hours to kill, then pop in to Westbury Museum. They often have new exhibitions on, and if they don't have anything new happening, it is very interesting just to look around. They have so much really interesting history and it is all free to go and have a look. It is well worth a visit in my opinion.

    Brings history back.

Went to see the recent Hendrix exhibition which was excellent and saw the Keeble cars displayed last weekend

Kill a few hours - for free!

I can remember as a kid when I worked over the road in McDonalds (we all have our cross to bear), always looking over at that spooky clown thing in the window. It wasn''t until I was grown up that I decided to take my son there and realised it was a doll wearing a "Dunces" hat. If you want to learn more about the history of the immediate area, this will interest you lots and they often host locally-themed exhibitions too. Well worth a visit - and it''s free!
