Beachwatch 2011

Join us on Sunday 18th September at 10 am, as we continue our drive with the Marine Conservation Society to clear the Portchester foreshore of litter.

A 100 metre section of the beach will be measured out and the items of litter picked up will be recorded and weighed for the Marine Conservation Society to add to statistics from all around the country.

We will be meeting at 10 am at the bottom of Hospital Lane, to start clearing the litter westwards along the shoreline. Free parking is available in the Portchester Castle car parks.

Hi John and thanks for adding this. I've put it in my diary as I haven't been to one of these before. I'll bring my camera in case we find some interesting things!
