I've heard it's run by the same people who have the Sir Joeseph Paxton in Titchfield Common. That's a great little boozer, hopefully the Brass Monkey will be the same.

Hi Paula and Hi Fiona, we have the Joe, Clinkers and now the Brass Monkey. We're on a mission to keep Proper Fareham Pubs open and to give the big pub chains that are taking over the town a run for their money!!
This week The Brass is launching a quiz on Monday, Poker TBC on Wednesday, a promotional night that will match Vanguards on a Thursday and Live Music on the weekends.
Hope this is enough to get people to pop in and realise it's not the same place it used to be.

Looking forward to the live music at the Brass. Where can I find a listing? Will the Unwritten Rule be booked there anytime soon?
