Fareham pubs that have gone but aren't forgotten - can you remember any?

I remember the Royal Oak (then Daniels and that horrible Sports Bar)
The Redlands (now flats)
The Portland (now the new bus station)
Admiral Cunningham (i think!)
The Turnpike

I don't know about that. The times we went in it was a couple of Scottish people running it. I went there during the day usually to get some writing done (pubs are great for getting work done when there is a 3 year old running around at home).

Yes, Sadly Jim the landlord of the Admiral Cunningham passed away last year. Latest news is that the pub is coming down for redevelopement.
Have you noticed we have also lost the Prague Junction (Coyote Station)?
Also Moda and The Hampshire Rose went a few years ago.
Their dropping like flies!

That's the planning application recently submitted to Fareham Borough Council to demolish the Admiral Cunningham and put up housing association flats.
