A wonderful quote from American Astronomist Dr Carl Sagan!
He also said: "Knowing a great deal is not the same as being smart; intelligence is not information alone but also judgment, the manner in which information is collected and used"
And: "If you want to make an apple pie from scratch, you must first create the universe."
Fabulous! Any more good quotes anyone?

I realise that this one isn't very new or original but I think Ms Monroe summed up the female experience with this:
"I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I'm out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best"

This is one of the best 'modern' quotes, from a song by Adele:
"Sometimes it lasts in love - but sometimes it hurts instead".
Anthemic and oh so true.

"Glory is fleeting, but obscurity is forever" - Napoleon Bonaparte.
I wonder how long the rioters` 'moment' will last?
