hmm. i guess it depends where your starting point is ZaraMac. Fisherman's Rest might be a bit far out for you but it's a good place to start working towards the centre of town plus it's a great place to eat. then maybe down blackbrook to the Heathfield (used to be the black rook). from there you could go down gudge heath to the harvester then make your way into town.

my nearest pub is the wetherspoons and if you tell me which night you're going i'll be sure to avoid it lol

My local is the Gordon Arms but it's totally quiet in there most nights. they're still looking, i think, for someone to take over the lease there. but that's not a bad starting point either, then to go to the Fareham and Clinkers and on into town. i know what you mean about avoiding a hen night, farehamite ;)
