Southampton city council is throwing its biggest royal wedding party at the new and improved Guildhall Square. A big screen will be put up to broadcast the wedding from 10am, followed by a free mass street party for up to 5,000 people. There will be 100 tables and 500 chairs in the square, but if you’re planning on going and want a guaranteed seat Council leaders are recommending you take your own.
