Fareham's Protyre To Give Ladies A Night To Remember!

Any Fareham ladies need a helping hand with all things “car”?

I realise that us girls have got ourselves a bit of a reputation when it comes to car maintenance.  Some of it’s deserved and some of it can feel a little harsh – especially if you’re one of those girls who knows there’s more to life than miniature dogs, designer handbags and fake tan (no, there really is!). 

Fareham’s Protyre, off Trinity Street, are organising a ladies’ night TONIGHT! (26th August 2010) – and no, I don’t mean they’re setting up a game of bingo and a stripper – this is actually useful stuff!  From 6-8pm this evening Protyre is offering the following, free of charge:

• How to safely change a wheel
• Tyre care and know how
• Expert advice from their trained technicians
• Light refreshments & snacks
• Quiz, prizes & information pack

In an age where a. more women get ripped off by mechanic chancers than ever before and b. the last thing we want is to wind up stranded and clueless in the middle of the night, this could be invaluable – and fun!

This article in The News quoted Paul Wright, Protyre's manager, as saying: 'This is a unique chance for ladies to find out all about general car care and maintenance and we promise it won't be boring.'
