Mid-November we asked readers to let their fingers do the

talking by voting for a great local charity – Fareham’s Rainbow

Centre.  The centre was just one charity

in line to gain the £3,000 winning award or £1000 runner up prize.

AND THEY WON!  £3,000

is on its way to the centre as we speak and will help them enormously in

continuing the amazing work they do with children who have Cerebral Palsy and

adults who suffer from M.S., Parkinson’s disease and those recovering from a

stroke.

A massive well done to anyone who voted.  Delighted Rainbow Centre staff wanted to

share this message:

Thank You to Everyone Who Voted!

WE WON!!!

The

Nat West Community Fund

Thanks

to your vote The Rainbow Centre has won the Nat West Community Fund and

will shortly be receiving a cheque for £3,000. This money will help us to

continue our services to children with Cerebral Palsy and adults suffering

from M.S., Parkinson’s disease and those recovering from a stroke.

The

Rainbow Centre is looking forward to working with staff from local NatWest

branches in Fareham, Park Gate, Stubbington, Cosham, Gosport and Portchester  throughout 2011 to hopefully raise even more

money.  Find out what events they are planning by visiting one of the

above branches or speaking to one of the Rainbow Centre fundraising team.

May we

take this opportunity to wish all our supporters a very Merry Christmas and

a Happy and Healthy New Year and once again THANKS FOR YOUR VOTE!

 It

really will help to make a difference.
