If you were looking for an excuse to go and see a film this week,
-
Odeon Cinema tickets for £1 - valid in Port Solent - 5000 up for grabs to Fareham Folk!
this may just be it! No catches and this isn’t a prize draw - Wowcher have 5000
Odeon Cinema tickets*, valid at the Odeon in Port Solent, up for grabs at £1
apiece to the first 5000 folk to register for them.
Interested? All you need to do is click here to go to the Wowcher
Website and register with them using your email address (if you're already a wowcher.co.uk member then you don't have to do
anything). Wowcher will then send you an email when the tickets are available.
The offer is on all this
week (9th May – 15th May) but the tickets will be allocated on a first
come first served basis, so if you register late you may miss the last one.
That’s the easy bit – the hard bit may be deciding what to see.
Some of 2011’s biggest and most anticipated films are being released
in the next few weeks. One I’m looking forward to is ‘Pirates of the Caribbean
4: On Stranger Tides’ which will be released on 18th May. Captain Jack
Sparrow takes to the seas again and this time his adventures find him pitted
against mermaids, zombies and one of his deadliest foes…
However if the sound of that doesn’t float your boat (ahem) then
there are plenty more to choose from.
If you like action / thriller movies then Eric Bana and Cate Blanchett
star in ‘Hanna.’ Raised by her widowed ex-CIA father, 16-year-old Hanna has
been taught how to hunt and is an expert in the art of extreme self-defence,
making her the perfect assassin.
Or if romantic comedies are more your thing then you may want to
try ‘Something Borrowed’ - Kate Hudson stars as a top New York attorney in
search of the perfect man.
One that sounds rather amazing is 'Berliner Philharmoniker – A Musical
Journey in 3D.' A cinema first, the film features a concert by the
world-renowned Berliner Philharmoniker, conducted by Sir Simon Rattle. The film
was shot at a concert from Singapore’s spectacular Esplanade Concert Hall and
is shown interspersed with pictures of the city and its people.
Although not in cinemas until 26th June one I’m looking
forward to taking the children to see is 'Kung Fu Panda 2.' I’m giggling just
thinking about it.
You can read about what’s on now and coming up in the near future,
see short previews and even book your tickets on the Port Solent Odeon website here.
Once you've seen your movie why not write a review for Fareham people on FarehamPeople!?
*Note that the offer is not valid at Covent Garden, Leicester Square Mezzanine, Marble Arch, Panton Street, Tottenham Court Road and West End cinemas.
