@ idiot. You have been busy haven't you. As I said on other sites you have visited to **** Pete off on, instead of insulting and belittling the man off from the safety of your keyboard why don't you grow a pair and go and talk to him directly. Pete is a well established and respected artist, wheras you come across as a whinny, petulant and gutless whinger. If my reply offends you well you can find me working alongside Pete any Thursday, Friday or Saturday. Just pop in the shop and ask for Fungus. I can't comment on the work you recieved, I've not seen it, but it seems you're opinion is in the minority as he currently has a 7 month waiting list and numerous repeat customers. Maybe you are the problem, not Pete, and you recieved the tattoo you deserved!

BP has a lot of friends in Fareham, whateveryername is. And a great rep as a tat guy. This sounds a lot like one of the competitor slurs type jobs

Big Pete's Tattoo Studio Fareham
Not even a one star rating from me. Big Pete in Fareham was recommended to me by people I know and there was a 6 month waiting list to see him "so he must be good" I thought. How wrong I was!
I handed my design in six months before my booked date but had a call three days before to say it was lost. No problem, I took another one in.
On the day, I was his first sitting and he asked me where my design was (lost it again). Luckily I'd had the foresight to bring another copy with me.
When entering the studio it reeked of stale booze. Either him or his apprentice must have had a heavy night on the sauce. Alarm bells started to ring but I was stupid and sat.
Big Pete then spent 20 minutes drawing on my arm before asking what I thought. Looking in the mirror it was nothing like my design. I asked quite politely if he could draw it again and was met with "For ***** sake your wasting my time". Erm no I wasn't I was paying for that time.
He then said "We'll if thats what you want then that's what you'll get" and started up the tattoo machine.
When I asked if he was going to draw it again he said "No, I'm not wasting anymore time on this I'm going to put it straight on".
Now, at this point I should have left but not wanting him to see that he was intimidating me my macho'ism kicked in and I just sat there and let him begin.
About an hour later I had something that vaguely resembled my design which was a Poloneysian style tribal turtle. These tattoos are supposed to be perfectly symetrical and have nice clean straight lines. My tattoo however isn't symetrical in the slightest and the line work is shocking to say the least. My 5 year old daughter could have done this.
I dare say he is a good tattoo artist if he hasn't had a drink the night before and you catch him in a good mood but because I asked him to change what he had drawn (as you should be able to with any good tattooist) he got pi$$ed off and gave me a bad tattoo on purpouse.
I wouldn't recommend "Big Pete" to my worst enemy!By adtheincred at 23:04 on 16/02/11
