I like the diversity of the people in Fareham; different backgrounds and cultures and, largely down to the Naval connections with Portsmouth, people from all over the UK. Fareham has pretty much everything you need in its town centre and two great cities so close, on either side of it, making it good for shopping. Close to both the sea and the countryside and steeped in a history in its own right, Fareham's not a bad place to live... I can think of worse.
I have, like anyone who lives here, issues with the town that are personal to me. Transport (public and private), recycling and refuse collection (or lack of it in some cases), affordable housing, empty houses when people are homeless - the list is not really exhaustive. But wherever we live, we're going to moan about it and have opinions on the things that are going on that affect our lives. So long as we recognise and discuss the good in a place, I think we have every right to have the odd winge about the bad bits :)
