Great little "boozer"
Real pub atmosphere. Very much a locals pub, but the locals are quite friendly, dont bit very often! The warming fire in the winter is always very welcoming. Pool table and darts, usual old pub stables, are here. The ales are well kept if that's your thing. The afternoon live band session is always very popular, great bands play including the fantastic Lewis Crevin.

Classic Drinkers pub
I agree with livvy the pub isnt very family friendly kids are welcome but its very adult aimed. Theres always a live band on a weekend and frequent karaoke nights-which are rather entertaining. Small and a quiet pub but with the big open fire it makes it very cosy. The drinks are very good vaule. It dosnt serve food but u can get your basic pub snaks. Defiantly worth cheacking out the live bands though.

Loverly atmosphere.
Very good classic pub. Not aimed at familys though.Often live music most weekends which are always at a high standard.Prices of drinks are very good value.
